MICHAEL C. VACCARO

Michael VaccaroMichael C. Vaccaro joined the firm of Kearns & Duffy, P.C. in July of 2002 as an associate and was named full partner in July of 2005.  Michael practices in the area of subrogation and recovery.  In this capacity, Michael investigates property damage claims, including, but not limited to: fire, water and auto losses resulting in significant property damage.  Mr. Vaccaro also prosecutes PIP reimbursement claims and oil claims under The New Jersey Spill Act.  Included in the above, Mr. Vaccaro handles bodily injury claims (auto and product liability), workers compensation claims, municipal cases and Wills, Estates and Trusts.

Mr. Vaccaro, a graduate of Edinboro University, Pennsylvania, and The Thomas M. Cooley Law School of Lansing Michigan, interned with the Public Defender's Office of Erie County Pennsylvania, worked in several law clinics in Michigan, and worked in the Monroe County District Attorney's Office of Rochester New York. After graduating from law school, he worked for an insurance defense firm in New Jersey as a trial attorney and has tried a significant number of cases through trial to a verdict.  Mr. Vaccaro is admitted to practice law in the States of New York and New Jersey, U.S. District Court of New Jersey and U.S. District Court of Western District of New York.

Michael is a member of the American Bar Association, New Jersey Bar Association, New York Bar Association, National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP),  Somerset County Bar Association and legal counsel to The Bernards Township Chamber of Commerce.
