WILLIAM J. KEARNS
William J. Kearns received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in history from St. Anselm College of Manchester, New Hampshire in 1961, where he also pursued studies in philosophy, theology and languages.
He is a 1964 graduate of Fordham University School of Law in New York City. On active duty with the Marine Corps Reserve from March 1965 through March 1967, he served, among various other duties, as an attorney with the Legal Assistance Office. During his service in the Marine Corps, Mr. Kearns was admitted to the Bar of the District of Columbia. Corporal Kearns received an honorable discharge. He is admitted to practice in the State of New Jersey, the United States Tax Court and various Federal Courts. He has nearly 50 years’ experience in several aspects of the law having closed well over 2,500 titles, actually conducted title searches of over 1500 titles, defended products liability cases, prosecuted and defended zoning cases, insurance subrogation cases, has prosecuted and defended cases involving titles to real estate, pursued interests in estates, life insurance policies and annuities, handled probate and administration matters and prepared numerous Wills, trusts and estate plans.
